The lost dog saves the life
Yolanda’s neighbor, Stacey, knocked on her doorstep tonight to ask if it was time to take care of the lost terrier she had found in the local schoolyard. Yolanda, of course, agreed to take the dog but said she could keep the dog for very long. They took pictures of the lost dog and made several leaflets of the lost dog. They distributed them to nearby mailboxes and also posted a notice to a local newspaper. This dog saves a life in the future.
Meanwhile, Yolanda went to the store to buy pet supplies with her two sons. However, she warned her sons not to fall in love with this dog. At the time, Yolanda’s son Azariah was 10 years old and Christian was 21 years old. Christian has Down syndrome and other ailments and has recently undergone heart and kidney surgery.

Four days later, Yolanda still had a dog in the care. They had started calling the dog RaeLee. Upon arriving home after work, the dog waved itself against the screen door and barked madly at her. As he opened the door, RaeLee exploded into the boys’ room where Yolanda found Christian in the middle of the scene. Raelene ran to Christian, but as soon as Yolanda bent over to help him, the dog fell silent.
“If the dog hadn’t come to fetch me, a neurologist said, Christian would probably have suffocated and died,” Yolanda told the Tampa Bay Times. After days no one had called to call for a dog, so Yolanda decided to keep her.
The following afternoon, Stacey received a call; a man named Randy recognized his missing dog and called the number on the flyer. Stacey came to cry and said to the man, “That dog saved a life my friend’s boy.”
Randy went to get his dog from Yolanda. On arrival, he saw Azaya crying on the porch and Christian’s window. After a moment, Randy said, “Maybe Ode had to find you, maybe you should keep him.
