Homemade dog biscuits
I love to pamper my dog with big homemade dog biscuits.
My dogs love to get tasty and healthy delicacies without the additives, dyes that are commonly found in industrially made delicacies.
This week I made delicious dog biscuits from peanut butter and pumpkin. They tasted for my dogs and definitely for other dogs too!
I often use seasonal products to make treats for my dogs. We get lots of pumpkins from our own garden, so it is good for dogs to make delicacies and it is also healthy food.
I always want to pamper my dog a little and give him the treats he loves. However, I also want the goodies my dog gets to be healthy for them.
I always treat my dog in the evenings and he treats him every night before going to bed. It has become for us the way dogs always wait in the evenings. Without evening treats my dog is amazed at what is wrong now. Of course, this is a bit problematic if I have to leave the dogs at times for treatment. Not everyone understands this way of giving a dog a treat.
It’s my way of showing love to my dog is to make homemade dog treats. They are easy to make and he loves them so much!
I love trying different ways to make dog treats.
What’s in this dog treat this time?
This time, this delicious recipe is my dog’s favorite. Peanut butter and dog’s latest favorite, pumpkin! The pumpkin is seasonal and perfect for autumn. At first, I wasn’t sure how my dog would like a pumpkin. I knew pumpkin would be healthy and good for them, so I thought I’d give it a try.
What do you think dogs liked about it? They really loved it!
In addition to dog treats, I prefer a raw diet for my dog. I have always given my dog to eat freely of everything food they like. They have never had stomach problems. My dog’s stomach does not mess with any food and it does not eat too much even though it is freely available. I don’t know if this works for all dog breeds, but I believe it will be quite a few if they are taught from a puppy to a healthy and varied diet.
How to Make Dog Biscuits |
These delicious dog biscuits are made just like gingerbread cakes. The dough should be stiff and slightly sticky. Roll out the dough as you do for gingerbread dough. We also used gingerbread molds to make, but you can use anything, circles, stars, trees, pumpkins or come up with your own ideas.
Place biscuits on baking paper and bake for about 20-30 minutes.
