Carlos stopped to look at the apartment building that was burning.
Normal extinguishing work, in his opinion, was routine, contained events until he saw something truly respectful. The firefighter saves the dog life.
He saw a firefighter carrying a small animal that had been rescued from the building and urged him, “Come on, come on, come on!”
“Then he realized it was a dog lying dead on the ground, he wasn’t moving at all,” Carlos says.
According to a local news agency, a 6-year-old dog, named Malu, was blocked after firefighters found him unresponsive in his apartment.
The dog owner, who was not at home in the event of a fire and tragically failed to rescue his dog in time, watched as the whole scene happened with firefighters outside.
Carlos had begun photographing the situation and says he was horrified at how the firefighter started working to rescue Malu by giving the little dog a CPR before they put on his dog’s oxygen mask. “They didn’t waste time … without hesitation.”
After a while I noticed the dog owner looking for his dog “I was really sad and stressed to see the dog owner trying to call the dog, ‘You’re not out of the woods yet, Malu! Come on, honey! ” Carlos says.

After 15 minutes of CPR, Carlos feared Malu might not pull through. But Fernando saw that the firefighter did not give up. ”
“He massages the dog calls his name and gives him a CPR,” he says. “After 20 long minutes, the dog started breathing heavily”
Carlos says he and the dog owner were “a surprised with joy and tears”.
“This whole experience was very profound,” he says. “I’m a professional photographer, so I know the moments that are very important, and when I can look back very emotional point, at this moment I always feel sympathy and empathy.”
In a new interview with the news, a firefighter said: “Our most important goal is to save people, and sometimes we cannot, despite our best efforts. But getting a success story just like that, even if Malu is a dog … he has a life and he has an important life. ”
After shooting Malu’s life-saving Fotos, Carlos tracked down the firefighter on Instagram so he could share photos with him. “I mentioned how happy I am, and I sent him of the photos that I took of him doing what mankind can do. He’s a so cool guy! ”
Respect and admiration for firefighters have been recognized and praised by many for their excellent work.
One of these people was none other than Malu’s mother, who shared a picture of a recovering dog and wrote, “Back to the dead !!!! She’s so grateful she’s alive. Thank you Thank you Thank you … we are forever grateful to all the firefighters who rescued Malu. ”
